The School of The Livingness Pty Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. You can reach us at any time at hello@theschoolofthelivingness.com.

What we collect

• When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address (for shipped orders), the items ordered and the order total. If you choose local pickup we do not ask for an address.
• When you pay: payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment succeeded.
• When you contact us: the name, email address, subject and message you send through our contact form.
• When you join our mailing list: your email address.
• Automatically: a small cookie that keeps your shopping cart and keeps the site secure, and basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider records for security and fault-finding.

How we use it

• To process, pack, post and keep records of your order, and to email you order confirmations and shipping updates.
• To reply to your messages.
• To send our newsletter, only if you joined the mailing list. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the website secure and working, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the shop:

• Stripe – payment processing.
• Australia Post and Royal Mail – delivering your order (your name and address).
• Resend – sending order and contact emails.
• MailerLite – sending our newsletter to people who have joined the mailing list.
• Railway – hosting the website and its database.
• Vimeo – the videos on our Videos page are embedded from Vimeo, which may set its own cookies when you play a video.

Some of these providers are based overseas, so your information may be processed outside Australia, the United Kingdom or the European Union. We choose providers that protect personal information to a high standard.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work (your cart and security). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records (generally seven years). We keep contact messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. We keep your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (unless we need to keep it by law), and you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email. If you live in Australia, the United Kingdom or the European Union you also have the rights given to you by your local privacy laws, including the right to complain to your privacy regulator. Email us and we will respond promptly.

Security

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and access to our admin system is limited to authorised people. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
